Boys will be Boys?

After a long day of shopping today we got home and both the boys ran in the front door and out the back I caught them in the back yard doing this...... I'm still not sure what to think? Am I raising little boys or Hillbillies?

Curran Kids Update.

Just a quick update on what the kids are up to.

Paytin Shay-

Pays is 7 years old and she is in 2nd grade

Paytin is the best big sister she helps Corbin with his homework and She tries to teach Cohen his letters. Its so cute how much they love each other.

Paytin loves to spend her time playing with her friends, putting on fashion shows, reading the Magic tree house books, swimming and she really likes to go golfing with her Dad.

Paytin is sweet and sassy all rolled up as a cute little 7 year old.

Paytin has the discovered the new world of making her own money. We made a deal at the beginning of the school year that for every 100% she gets on any test that I will give her 1 dollar she has been in school for 4 weeks now and I'm in the hole 6 bucks. I think I'm going to need to rethink this agreement.

Corbin Curran-

Corbin is 5 years old and in Kindergarten

Corbin thinks Paytin is the smartest person in the entire world he believes everything she says. (I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing yet) Corbin and Cohen love to play cars and trains together.

Corbin loves to spend his time playing his leapster, playing with friend, swimming and ridding his bike (we just took his training wheels off and he is so proud of himself)

Corbin is the sweetest most easygoing little boy.

Corbin just started kindergarten he loves it and he's making lots of new friends. Cohen and I miss him so much when he is at school.

Cohen Curran-

Cohen is 2 almost 3 years old.

Cohen loves to spend his time reeking havoc around the house. I think he just cant help himself he wants to be big so bad that it ends up getting him in trouble most of the time.

A few things Cohen has done lately... he is now potty trained (whoop whoop), he learned how to jump off the diving board into the swimming pool and he is trying really hard to learn how to ride a bike with training wheels.

Since Paytin and Corbin have been in school Cohen has become my little buddy. We love to listen to loud music while we clean the house, Co's favorite songs are "Addicted to love" by Robert Plamer and "Are you going to kiss me or not" by Thompson Square. I love being able to spend one on one time with him. Cohen is a sweet little trouble maker who we love so much.

Cohen Curran

Cohen is almost 3 and so its time to be potty trained. So since the kids have been at school and its just been Cohen and I at home we have been potty training. At first it was a battle of the wills and Cohen was winning. Well two can play this game... So I took him to the store and let him pick out any toy he wanted with the rules being he can only have the truck he picked if he went potty on the toilet. It took 2 days but it worked! Cohen is now potty trained.

This is Cohens buddy Kyson. When these 2 get together they are always up to something. Just look at their cute little faces.

Back to School.

Paytin and Corbin started school. Paytin is in 2nd grade this year and Corbin is in kindergarten.
They both are loving school and making lots of friends.

Corbin getting ready to start his first day. I'm so sad to see him go to school.

Miss Paytin Shay as she was getting ready to walk into her classroom. Shes getting so big!

They both had a great first day.

Happy Birthday Corbin

Corbin turned 4 on April 27.
He had a great birthday he got a new bike and a lot of new Thomas the Train engines

Spencer brought him home some balloons and a ice cream cake from Baskin and Robins. He loved it!

Ski Trip

We went up to my parents house over Paytins Spring break and did a little skiing.

This was Corbins 2nd time going up skiing. He is almost ready for the chair lift or "flying Chair" as Corbin calls it.

Paytin has been skiing since she was 3. She is getting really good, she can almost keep up with me.

I loved being up on the mountain so much that I decided to buy a season pass for next year. I hope that we will be able to go up a lot and the kids will continue to get better and better.

Day At The Beach

We went to the beach over Paytins Spring Break about 6 weeks ago. I'm a little late updating the family blog. We had the perfect day at the beach. The weather was perfect and the kids were on their best behavior. We had so much fun I hope that we go back soon.
Paytin enjoying a little time in the sun and listening to some tunes.

Corbin loved playing in the sand. He tried really hard to build a cool sand castle but it never really worked out for him.

Cohen really enjoyed the picnic lunch we brought and maybe even ate a little sand.
